Project ‘Life’ revivifies strength in Revti that makes her stand on her feet

18 years of Revti’s life passed without standing, walking and speaking even after consulting and taking treatment from many doctors and hospitals since her birth. But then daily practice of the ancient methods of Yoga, Pranayam and Dhyan at Project ‘Life’ brought a miracle in her life.
Born in the family of Sundarbhai and Laxmiben Patel, who have their native in Chennai and staying in Rajkot since last 20 years, Revti was having a disability since her birth and her  mental and physical growth was frozen. She had tongue but couldn’t speak, she had hands and legs but couldn’t stand up and walk.
Sundarbhai Patel family who is making their lives by selling vegetables had the only aim to make Revti walk and speak. They tried different hospitals and met different physiotherapists, but the result was zero. Days and years passed, but the situation was the same. There was no change whatsoever in her situation.
Recently her family got screening of Revti for MRI in a Chennai hospital, but the doctors couldn’t do anything.
It is proven again that where medicines don’t work, prayers do! Parents of Revti heard the name of Project ‘Life’. They took her to the “Women’s Special Yoga Unit” run by Project ‘Life’, where she has been doing Suryanamaskar and special Asnas helpful to her problem and in very short period her parents marked a change in her. It was working on her!
Revti has been attending Yoga class since last one year and now she is speaking and she can walk on her own. Yoga instructor Dr. Niraja Chauhan is constantly trying on improving her mental power and her confidence level.
Revti is not able to go to school, but she is studying, taking personal tuitions. Project ‘Life’ has changed her life and she is very happy. She is confident that in a very near future she’ll also be normal like any other girl.

Project ‘Life’ Celebrated 65th Birthday of their mentor and Chairperson of Blood Donor Movement, Mrs. Jaya Bachchan differently, by organizing Blood Collection Camps

Rajkot Voluntary Blood Bank & Research Centre has many proud moments to cherish during this saga of 32 years of humanitarian services. One of them is the kindness and association of Mrs. Jaya Bachchan as Chairperson, Blood Donor Movement. On 9th April, 2013, she entered in the 65th year of her electrifying life.

It was a great pleasure for entire Project ‘Life’ family to celebrate 65th Birthday of Mrs. Jaya Bachchan. In spite of almost three decades of advanced research and millions of dollars of investments, modern day science has not been able to produce the equivalent of human blood in the laboratory. Every day in Rajkot city and around, few hundred patients need blood or blood components. Unless one healthy individual gives blood voluntarily and regularly, the needy patients cannot get it in time. There is a continuous need to increase awareness regarding importance of the voluntary blood collection.
To promote voluntary blood collection, Smt. Jaya Bachchan in association with Project ‘Life’ worked hard for more than two decades.
Celebration of the 65th Birthday of Jayaji was conceived in such a way that it could make her happy. The Rajkot Voluntary Blood Bank & Research Center  invited on phone their voluntary, non-remunerated bloodgivers who are a part of RVBB family. The RVBB & RC awarded all the voluntary blood-givers who gave blood during the function a special kit as a token of appreciation. The kit was made up of a utility pouch, a pen, a diary and a key-chain with the image of Lord Ganesha having a motivational message to give blood and special certificates. Bloodgivers received two certificates, one was exclusively designed for the birthday celebration with a photograph of Jayaji and another with the photograph of the blood-givers giving blood. To mark the 65th Birthday, 65 bloodgivers gave blood. Also to send bloodgivers feelings and wishes to Jayaji, a special placard was placed at the camp-sites, where blood givers put their messages and wishes for Jayaji with their signatures.

RVBB&RC enjoys leadership of Mrs. Jaya Bachchan for its Blood Donor Motivation Drive. This was the occasion of sharing a great message on humanitarian activity and contribution of Jayaji, a renowned celebrity of international level towards the lifesaving cause.
Project ‘Life’ wishes Jayaji a long and healthy life on this auspicious occasion.
