Non-Resident Gujaratis are going to cheers at their homeland, Project Life organizes the daylong event



Gujaratis are the community with bravery in heart, penetration in mind and feeling of oneness in soul. NRG Centre of Project Life is the one and only authorized centre of Saurashtra region of Non-Resident Gujarati Foundation (NRGF), of the Gujarat Government for NRGs spread across globe. NRG Centre of Project Life carries different activities for the visiting non residents Gujaratis.
NRG Centre of Project Life organized a seminar called ‘Sadakal Gujarati’ (Gujarati Forever) on 3rd of March 2013, Sunday between 4 P.M. to 7 P.M. The seminar includes the lectures of prominent speakers and orators of Gujarat, i.e. Jay Vasavada (the columnist, author and public speaker), Ramesh Rawal (The well-known immigration lawyer and public speaker) and Dr. Kamal Parikh (he inspired many lives to be free from diseases by his series of lectures called- “How Not To Fall Sick?”).  The event will be organized at Project Life Building, Race Course, Ring Road, Rajkot.
The daylong event would be called ‘Sadakal Gujarati’ (Gujarati Forever) and the event would cover:  A lecture on `Honor to be Gujarati’ of NRGs (the lectures would conduct by the eminent writers and speaker of Gujarat) followed by Musical Event at Savani Auditorium, Rajkot on the evening of 3rd of March, 2012.
The event ‘Sadakal Gujarati’ jointly organized by Gujarat State Non-Resident Gujaratis’ Foundation and Rajkot NRG Centre of Project Life. The organization invite you one and all to listen these prominent speakers on how the NRGs have brought pride to our nation India and motherland Gujarat.

The Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony of Smt. Taraben & Jamnadas Odhavji Sheth Primary School, Mervadar (Ta: Upleta, Dist: Rajkot) is done as the part of Excellence in Education initiative of Project Life. The initiative for the 55th school is taken, after the successive 54 schools constructed by Project Life. The programme to lay the strong foundation by the infrastructure that lasts long is taken place at the village Meravadar of Rajkot district of Gujarat on 26th January of 2013.

The day that was also the Republican Day of mother nation India started with the feeling of patriotism and pride in the entire village. The villagers, the children and all the eminent personalities gathered for the auspicious day. The kind support on the name of Smt. Taraben and Jamnadas Odhavji Sheth is received by Project Life for the excellence in education.

The event has created immense excitement in villagers, would be students and the teachers’ fraternity. Stone Laying Ceremony was performed by the august hands of Shri Kiritbhai Vasa and the Guest of Honor was Shri Vitthalbhai Radadia, MLA, Dhoraji-Upleta along with Chief Guest, Shri Pravin Makadia, Ex-MLA, Upleta and other Special Invitees were Shri Lakhabhai Dangar, President, Taluka Panchayat, Shri Narendrabhai Dhandhal, Mamlatdar, Upleta, Shri Lakshmanbhai Kangad, Senior Working President, State Teachers Federation.

The children of the school also shown their creativity and skills in the cultural programme arranged by the school. The villagers were overwhelmed by the development that is expected to take place by this school. Mr. Vitthalbhai Radadiya also expressed his joy by his kind and appreciating words for one and all who contributed for this project. Mr. Shashikant Koticha Managing Trustee of Project Life and The Project Life Team ensured that the programme gets the appropriate colors of success and awakening.

The Project Life has been reforming the education scenario across Gujarat by its various initiatives since past thirteen years under its Center for Excellence in Education Programme.

Jasapar School Dedication Ceremony

Shri Shailen Prabhudas Ruparell Prathmik Shala is the 53rd feather added in Project Life’s crown. Shri Shailen Prabhudas Ruparell Prathmik Shala of Jasapar, constructed as the part of Excellence in Education initiative of Project Life, is dedicated to the village Jasapar of Jamnagar district of Gujarat on 19th January of 2013.

The day started with the zeal in the entire village. Various invitees from all the spheres of life gathered for the occasion. The donor of the school for the initiative of Project Life, Shri Prabhudasbhai Ruparel from Canada, also graced the event by his presence. The chief guest for the event was BJP State President, Shri R.C.Faldu.
At the arrival, all the dignitaries and guests were given warm welcome by the villagers with tunes of drums and shehnai. Villagers offered traditional turbans to the guests and arranged special transport of decorated tractors to brought them from village entrance to programme venue in elated atmosphere.
On this auspicious occasion, Mr. Faldu was glad to be at his alma mater. He said, “Development happens if the fine blend of skill and training happens. The people of village should ensure that the children study well.”
The donor of the school Shri Prabhudasbhai graced the occasion with his kind words. He has been contributing for the various causes; amidst education is his prime concern. He said, “The school is the sacred place of village”. Managing Trustee of Project Life Mr. Shashikantbhai Koticha expressed his gratitude towards the donor and the guests for being there to spread the light of education. 
Jentibhai Faldu of Jasapar village welcomed the dignitaries. Mr. Chandrakant Koticha, Executive Trustee of Saurashtra Medical & Educational Charitable Trust (Project Life), introduced the dignitaries and also explained the people how Project Life is transforming lives.  The dignitaries present at the event included Shri Vejabhai Ravaliya, Shri Meghavajibhai Chavda, Laljibhai Solanki, Dr. P.B. Vasoya, Nanjibhai Chovatiya, and Shobhanaben Kachhadiya.
The children of the school showcased their talents by various cultural programmes. The overwhelmed children, the teaching staff and the villagers expressed their gratitude for one and all present there.

It is evident that Project Life has revolutionized the educational sphere by its various activities.
