Sachin Tendulkar announced his date of retirement! With this announcement, one and all, present & ex-cricketers, BCCI officials and other dignitaries have started to applaud him for the service he has done to the nation by his cricketing skills. For Rajkot Voluntary Blood Bank & Research Centre (RVBB & RC) Sachin would also be remembered for his kindness to visit it and showing his enthusiasm for the humanitarian activities.
The words of Sachin written in the remarks book of Rajkot Voluntary Blood Bank reads, “It was the first time I visited any blood bank &I was really amazed to see all the facilities you have. It was a great experience to me as well as a great education.”
On 14th October 1993, Sachin Tendulkar along with Ravi Shastri, Sanjay Manjarekar, Nayan Mongiya and other cricketers visited Rajkot Voluntary Blood Bank & Research Centre (RVBB & RC).
Sachin very enthusiastically had gone through Thalassaemia Test. He minutely understood the details of Thalassaemia from Executive Trustee Shri Chandrakant Koticha of Project ‘Life’.
His remarks and his appealing gestures have been motivating for thousands of persons who turn to give blood at Rajkot Voluntary Blood Bank!
