Mudra Yojana

More than 200 hundred BPL women, trained in the various trades by Project ‘Life’ were assisted under MUDRA loans under Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY). A programme was scheduled at Ahmedabad, where the cheque/s were handed over to the BPL women by Mr. Nautial.

MUDRA – Micro Units Development & Refinance Agency Ltd., a new institution being set up by the Govt. of India, announced by the Hon’ble Finance Minister during the Union Budget for FY 2016.

Purpose of MUDRA is to provide funding to the non-corporate small business sector.
