Dedication Ceremony of 55th Primary School by - Shri Lalitbhai Timbadia Primary School, Dungarpur, Dist. Junagadh, Gujarat (India) by Project ‘Life’

After the earthquake, as decided by Saurashtra Medical & Educational Charitable Trust, Project ‘Life’ to reconstruct 71 schools, the organization recently dedicated 55th school in the interior village of Junagadh district.
It was the day which Himanshu Timbadia & entire Timbadia family would always love to cherish in their memories. The school was dedicated in the loving memories of Late Shri Lalitbhai Timbadia, by the august hands of his son Himanshu Timbadia. As the token of love and affection toward the motherland of his father Shri Lalitbhai Timbadia, Shri Himanshu Timbadia decided to donate the school at Dungarpur in Junagadh district of Gujarat State.
The dedication ceremony of the school was a grand one. Chief Guest of the ceremony was Mr. Jawahar Chavda, M.L.A. of Manavadar electorate, Junagadh District Govt. of Gujarat while the guest of honor was Mr. A. J. Nimavat, District Education Officer- Junagadh.
The school dedication ceremony was included with a cultural program, ribbon cutting and a donor plaque displaying etc. The inauguration of the school building was done by ribbon cutting by Smt. Induben Lalitbhai Timbadia in this joyful ceremony.
The villagers of the school showed their gratitude as they needed the proper infrastructure for education for their children. The lack of the infrastructure caused the students of the village to lose the interest for knowledge. Now with the generous support from Timbadia family, the students of the village would love to go for schooling.
From the Project ‘Life’, the Managing Trustee Shri Shashikant Koticha & others  were present in the ceremony. They hoped that because of this new construction, the region, and especially the village Dungarpur would be the place where the education would be worshiped.

Rajkot NRG Center managed by Project ‘Life’ organizes ‘Gujarat Card Awareness Seminar’

Encouraged by the success of “Khushbu Gujarat Ki” campaign by Mr. Amitabh Bachchan to attract global tourism in Gujarat, the Government of Gujarat has introduced 2 years back a scheme of ‘Gujarat Card’ which is meant to promote local business. The scheme includes registration of local vendors / businesses with the Gujarat State Non-Resident Gujaratis’ Foundation (GSNRGF) that will publish & upload complete directory of registered local vendors on their website, widely referred by NRIs /NRGs visiting Gujarat.
Generally, visitors need favors like finding good hotel accommodation, high class restaurants, reliable and trustworthy travel agents, details of shopping malls who sell traditional Gujarati dresses, needless to mention about our Jewelery showrooms, world famous sweets etc. Most importantly, Gujarat has emerged as India's most preferred destination for investments as per the latest figures of Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP), they might want to know more about the investments.
The basic purpose is to distribute a complete directory to NRIs / NRGs who are visiting Gujarat for social, business or personal visits to the state of Gujarat, where in those vendors who would like to extend their business to all over world. The vendors would like to offer special discount and other facilities to NRGs /NRIs visitors.
This will definitely give mileage to the registered vendors & businesses, as their information of company name, contact details and business in which they are engaged along with their special offer given to NRIs /NRGs would be displayed on GoG website & the visitors will have beforehand information about the products & services. It is a win-win situation for both.
